| House before renovations begin. This
house will be completely redesigned, rebuilt and expanded over the course of construction.
With the exception of a few rooms, the entire home will appear vastly different and
larger. |

Construction begins by
demolishing the interior parts of the home, in this case, the former family room.
Sheetrock and insulation are removed, electrical wiring and plumbing
mechanicals are
shut down. |

| Two layers of siding, vinyl and wood
are stripped from the structure. New cedar clapboard siding
will be installed before the project is completed. |

| The outside of house is completely
stripped of siding and ready for new windows, new siding and framing
changes and enhancements. |

| Basic structural framing is complete
and new windows have begun to be installed. Tarps are used on
the roof to keep rain out until the final roofing shingles are
installed. |

| What was an open porch is transformed
into a bedroom area. The garage has been fitted with new
windows, as will the entire house. The gable roof is simply a
decorative element to match the larger roof on the main part of the
structure. |

home. Work also progresses on the entrance porch.
This porch will make the entire structure seem much more elegant and
dramatic. |

| The furnace chimney is reconstructed
here in brick. Its former condition was concrete block, dull
and unattractive. The new brick will also match a new brick
fireplace being installed. |

ceilings will be a vast improvement on the master bedroom area of
the former home. |

| Zero clearance fireplace is being
installed in the dining room area. A nice alternative to the
traditional fireplace, both in terms of cost of space
efficiency. It will be a nice compliment to the brick
fireplace being installed in the living room (see next

All new windows have been installed, the roof is nearly complete, as
is the front porch area. The exterior of the house is covered
with Tyvec house wrap for energy efficiency. |
